About us
Pleasant Valley Log Cabins (or PVLC) was born over 25 years ago, when the owner Joe Fisher saw potential in this little haven near Ontario, WI. PVLC started with the construction of the Deer Meadow, our first cabin, in 1995. Joe and Le Ann shortly found out they were pregnant with their first child, Riley, and then Skyler just two short years after. As their family grew, so did their business. The next cabin built was the Bird's Nest in 1999, the Moose Lodge in 2002, and the Bear's Den in 2005.
Joe grew up in Pennsylvania near Pittsburgh, and Le Ann grew up in the area. Fate would bring them together in Eau Claire, WI where they met at UW Eau Claire when Joe accepted a teaching position. Joe continues to run PVLC while Le Ann works as a teacher at a local school district. Riley works in Eau Claire, while Skyler works in Oshkosh.
Since we've started this journey, we've met countless wonderful people who have come to enjoy our southwestern Wisconsin sanctuary just as much as we have. We're so excited to meet you, and we hope you will stay with us!
